Home & School Association

Welcome Parents! We are excited for the 2024-2025 school year at SPC. As your Home & School board, we invite you to get involved in your children's school. Home & School is a great way to meet other parents and teachers, spend time with your children, and meet their friends. SPC is a vibrant community made up of extraordinary volunteers, exceptional teachers, and a committed school and parish staff. It is only with your involvement and support that, together, we continue to make this all possible. There are so many volunteer opportunities both at school and from your home. Please contact any member of Home & School with questions. Looking forward to another GREAT year at SPC!

The St. Paul Home and School Association is the parent organization at St. Paul of the Cross School. The general goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for service to the St. Paul of the Cross School community in keeping with the mission statement of the school. This Association seeks to cooperate with the Pastor, the administration, school board, and faculty in providing a Catholic education for the students. It operates within the framework of all policies and guidelines of the school and the Archdiocesan Office of Catholic Education.

The specific functions of this organization are:

  • To promote more effective communication between the school and the home in order to provide continuity of the students' education;
  • To sponsor well-planned programs which will encourage the religious, moral, physical, mental, social, and educational growth of the students, the parents and the faculty;
  • To create a greater appreciation of Catholic education in its broadest sense; To provide and coordinate lay assistance for the school;
  • To assist in fundraising for educational items not funded by the school budget.

Home & School members are represented by a four member Board. Board members serve a two-year term, not to exceed one term. We encourage all parents to attend Home & School meetings, which take place every other month at school.

Raise Right (formerly known as T.R.I.P) Year Round
Raise Right is a St. Paul of the Cross Tuition Reduction Incentive Program (T.R.I.P.) and fundraiser that gives participating families the opportunity to earn tuition credit and also raise funds for our school. This is just another way to pay for everyday purchases using gift cards in place of cash, checks and credit cards.

Choose from over 300 of the country's biggest brands -- such as Whole Foods, Jewel, Walgreens, Starbucks, Subway, WalMart, Dunkin' Donuts, Macy's, Target, BP, Lowes, Dick's Sporting Goods, Panera, Barnes & Noble, American Girl, CVS Pharmacy, iTunes and many, many more!!

How the Program Works
You purchase gift cards/certificates at a discount through the Raise Right App. The discounts range from 2% to 30% of the card's face value and this percentage is the total profit. This year we are offering 80% of the profit to our school families in the form of a tuition credit. This credit accumulates in your account with each order placed and is given to the school twice a year to reduce your tuition bill. The other 20% of the profit, after deducting expenses, is given to the school as a donation for miscellaneous improvements.
Example:
You place an order and pay $200.00 for Jewel gift cards. Use the gift cards exactly like cash and buy $200.00 worth of groceries. Jewel offers a 4% discount, so the profit for this order is $8.00. Your family earns $6.40 as a tuition credit and $1.60 goes to the School T.R.I.P. account.

Initial Sign up
Before placing your initial order, send an email to parent coordinator, Sheila Canzoneri, at This email address is being protected from spambots.
